Can my stream really run 24/7 without me touching the server?

Yes. Once OBS or vMix is configured and set to auto-reconnect, the server keeps encoding and pushing your RTMP feed even after you disconnect the Remote Desktop session. Reboots are rare and scheduled.

Which encoder should I use, x264 or NVENC?

Use x264: our servers have no GPU, so NVENC isn't available. x264 medium at 1080p60 with a 6000 Kbps bitrate is comfortable on the Pro plan and above; smaller plans handle 720p or a faster preset.

How much upload bandwidth do I actually get?

Every plan ships on a 1 Gbps port, upgradable to 10 Gbps as an add-on. A single 1080p60 stream at 6 Mbps uses less than 1% of that, so you can comfortably restream to 5+ platforms in parallel.

Will my viewers see lag or dropped frames?

Our servers sit in professional datacenters in Germany and the Netherlands, close to the European ingest servers of Twitch, YouTube, and Kick. Dropped frames from network congestion are far rarer than on a home connection.

Can I install my own overlays, plugins, and scenes?

You get full Administrator access. Install any OBS plugin, StreamElements overlay, chatbot, or custom LUT. Your scenes, sources, and profiles persist across reboots. Nothing is locked down.

What happens if my home internet drops?

Nothing. Your stream lives on the server, not your home network. Disconnect your RDP session and the broadcast keeps running until you stop it.
